I bought an Apple Card and sent it to my friend but it was rejected. Where is my money? It left my bank.

If your friend was unable to redeem the card, then the money is still there and you can redeem it to your account. There is no refunds for Gift Card purchases. It is true that Gift Cards are only valid in the region where they were purchased.

Beware of the many Gift Card scams where some people will ask for Gift Cards as payment and will even tell you they don't work so you will send more. I know nothing about the person you sent it too so I am not making any judgement, just seen a lot of people who were caught up in those scams.

Your money is in Apple’s bank account.

Is your friend in a different country ?

Have you tried redeeming the card onto your own account ?

How did your friend try to redeem it?

What was the exact error message?

If you bought a card for one country and your friend tried to redeem it on an Apple account from another country it won't work.

Unless you can tell us what happened, it will be very hard to help.

Rejected by who? or what? what exactly happened?

If your friend rejected it, then Apple won't automatically refund you.

If the purchase failed in.some way, then you should not have been charged.

If you were, then the gift card should have been sent to your friend.
