MacBook password not accepted for Apple account updates

Last night a Tech helped me to change my password so it worked for Administration for my Macbook Pro and also when it asks for Apple password. But it is not letting me update or do other things

My password is not being accepted for Apple. It was changed so I could use the same password for my MacBook and Apple account. I tried to update my MacBook and it won’t accept my password. Same for other functions asking for password.
