Podcasts pausing and rewinding during CarPlay alerts.

I started using the Apple Podcasts app, and I realized during every single alert from my Maps it will completely pause it, rewind a little, and resume. I have to click play on the infotainment system to resume, but it’s so tedious. Is there a way to turn it off? I’ve searched everywhere. I’d turn off map alerts but don’t want to risk missing a turn or exit. Thanks a ton!
