Airpods Pro 2; Soft Rumble/Wind noise that increases in volume over time out of left Airpod even after physical replacement

My original left Airpod was replaced a couple weeks ago due to the volume being excessively high and the presence of what I'd call a "roaring wind". The technician replaced the Airpod with a brand new unit right before my eyes, and I left happy. A couple days later, I noticed that the wind noise would return gradually after putting the left Airpod in my ear. Volume out of the unit is entirely normal.

Whether I'm playing media or not, the wind noise is present. It is most noticeable with ANC enabled, however it can be barely noticed in Transparency mode. I've even had a different person wear them for a few minutes to verify, and they too hear the slow rumble/wind noise building in volume the longer they wear them. Resetting the unit has not helped. Cleaning the unit has not helped.

This is likely an entirely different issue than the first, perhaps some software issue. Currently running Version 8A358. I'm at a loss for what I can do at this point.
