Old Apple Music playlists disappeared after resubscribing

Hi everyone,

I used to have an Apple Music subscription a few years ago and had many custom playlists saved under my Apple ID.

After a few years without an active subscription, I recently renewed Apple Music using the same Apple ID — but unfortunately, all of my old playlists and library content are gone.

Here’s what I’ve already checked:

  • I confirmed that I’m signed in with the same Apple ID I originally used.
  • Sync Library” is turned on in my settings on all devices.
  • I tried restarting the app and signing out/in again, but nothing changed.
  • I didn’t delete my music manually or reset my devices.

I’d really like to recover my playlists if possible, as they contained a lot of carefully built collections over the years.

Is there any way Apple Support can restore my Apple Music Library from their servers or cloud backups?

Thank you very much for any help or advice!
