after tahoe update apple mouse no longer working

Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9


My mouse stopped working after Tahoe update.

Mouse showing up in bluetooth settings, click connect and fails.

Turned mouse off and on. Restarted computer. NOthing.

Plug usb into mac connect to mouse. Mouse shows that it's connected.

I unplug usb and shows in bluetooth settings but clicking Connect fails.
