Find My Airtag no longer working via Homepod Mini!

I am no longer able to “Find My Keys” (Airtag) via Siri on my Homepod Minis and am instead redirected to the Find My App on my phone. As someone registered blind, I find this a real downgrade of this helpful feature! I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Airtag, restarting everything, saying please- does anyone have a solution?! Thank you.
