How do I delete or hide the Album by Artist in the left hand column of iTunes.
Viewing songs, Album by Artist is an active column but not included in the show view options. Why is this? How can it be removed from sight?

Album, Album by Artist, and Album by Artist/Year are actually all the same column. If you use Show > View Options to get rid of Album, then Album by Artist will go away.
