Do you mean you manually deleted files that were in your Time Machine backup? If you have the files are gone (or you can possibly look in your Trash). As a rule of thumb NEVER EVER manually delete files from a Time Machine backup as it will likely result in your having to erase the Time Machine External Hard Disk and start all over again with Time Machine. If you do not have adequate space on your Time Machine External Hard Disk that means it is time to buy a Time Machine External Hard Disk with more capacity!!
If that is NOT what you meant, please provide a more detailed description or you can simply write what happened that resulted in your asking your original question.

FWIW, since you have an Apple Silicon iMac running Sequoia, the drive would be formatted as APFS and it's not possible to delete the backup files. You would have to erase the drive.
