AppleTV software 7.9
I disconnected iCloud from my 2008 El Capitan Mac Pro by mistake, then reconnected. Now my AppleTV won’t login to iCloud and connect to my iTunes. Any ideas?

What you did on your Mac is unrelated to iCloud on Apple TV.

You can keep using the remaining supported features on your Apple TV box (A1427 or A1469), without trying to sign in for iCloud services. Else consider getting a newer model.

That is using Home Sharing, not iCloud. You would still be able to use that feature on a current model.

It’s just a bit weird. I was able to connect AppleTV to ‘My Computer’ only last week because we were watching our old family home videos which are saved in the OSX iTunes library. Now I don’t know how I will be able to watch these ever again? If I upgrade to a newer AppleTV unit, will I be able to connect to the iTunes on my old Mac once again?
iCloud has not been supported on that model for quite some time.
