Apple wallet ID for a card

Hello,

I am trying to access to the full card number that Apple generates for each card, but I only could see the last 4 digits. The other ones are with * but are not accessible.

how can I see all of them?

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18

Your bank misled you. Sorry.

After your card is approved, your bank, your bank’s authorized service provider, or your card issuer creates a device-specific Device Account Number, encrypts it, and sends it along with other data (such as the key used to generate dynamic security codes that are unique to each transaction) to Apple. The Device Account Number can’t be decrypted by Apple but is stored in the Secure Element — an industry-standard, certified chip designed to store your payment information safely — on your device.

Unlike with usual credit or debit card numbers, the card issuer can prevent its use on a magnetic stripe card, over the phone, or on websites. The Device Account Number in the Secure Element is isolated from iOS, watchOS, macOS, and visionOS, is never stored on Apple servers, and is never backed up to iCloud.”

Apple does not generate any numbers. All numbers associated with your account are created by the issuing bank. Apple does not know or store the full unencrypted number on any servers. Only the issuing bank has access to the DPAN (Device Primary Account Number) in an unencrypted form.

Banks generally don’t provide that information for security reasons. But, it can’t hurt to ask.

I am referring to Apple Pay number that is generated when you add a card into your wallet.

I ask the bank and they have confirmed that the number is generated by Apple and saved by them too, so the bank doesn’t have access to it, as it is specified for my iPhone phone.

I need the code to ask for the payment receipt at a shop, they can’t found it without first and 4 last number of the card used… in that case Apple Pay numbers.

thanks to all for your help!!
