Continuous play stopped working on Roku devices
Hi - read through several, but didn't see an open question or one that actually had resolution. Also spent about 3 months on Roku community with this issue, they said to go to Apple because it involved an update last month.
Up until about 4 months ago, a TV show/series that I purchased on Apple TV, a box set, I could watch the series on Roku Ultra and Roku TV and it would "Play Next Episode", "continuously". Then one day it stopped. End of episode it would go back to home screen and I would have to hit play to play the next episode.
I and several others went through all the shenanigans. resetting all the setting, continuous play on Apple TV app and on Roku. Unplugged it off for 30 seconds. Uninstalled and re-install the app. Put the left foot out, put the right foot out .... Everything but factory reset.
Then Roku said it was an Apple update and we should ask Apple. That was a month ago and the Apple update has happened, still waiting for Roku to reset and for "Play Next Episode" to actually play the next episode. Will this happen soon?
- TV has version 16.0.1.30R52:16.0.0 (roku4-3051):apple | Media Engine 3.0.28:0.1.26-fairplay-45.9.21 | Roku OS 14.6.4
- Ultra has version 16.0.1.30R52:16.0.0 (roku4-30R51): apple | 3.0.28:0.1.26-fairplay-45.9.21 | Roku OS 15.0.5
When will continuous play come back on Roku in the Apple TV app for Apple purchased series or streaming a series?
