Monthly instalment options for educational discount purchases on Apple products

so I recently tried to purchase the M4 MacBook Air with the free AirPods education savings offer. However, the payment options were limited to only debit card/ Apple Pay for full payment! After an extensive research, I discovered that adding Annually pay "Apple Care" to the bag disabled my monthly instalment options! So I removed the Apple Care from my bag and boom it revealed the PayPal/Barclay monthly instalment options.

Additional option might need be checked is to try enabling "Check for Apple Pay" in Safari settings (settings > safari app > advanced > check for Apple Pay).
