FACETIME not letting me make calls

I got a new phone, iphone16. Each time I turn it on it asks me do I want to turn on FaceTime and iMessages. I say turn on.

Today I tried to make a FaceTime and it says this contact is not on the contact card and cannot be reached. And now it makes FaceTimes with my email and not my name. It also tells me I have to activate FaceTime but never activates.

How can I fix this
