Trying to delete purchased movies, going crazy - HELP

I have a couple movies that I’ve bought over the years that I don’t like and will never rewatch. I would like to permanently delete them (am a very organized / visual person, and just seeing them in my library bugs me). I can not figure out how to remove them- which I understand may not be possible (which I find hard to believe??)- but I also can’t even figure out how to hide them. There is no “swipe to delete” or “click to hide” or any of the other things I’ve seen suggested. I’ve been googling this for hours and I’m at the end of my rope.

The movie represents a past purchase, and as such can normally not be deleted by the user.

You can however hide a purchased title, so that it no longer shows up in your library. For movie content, you will have to do so on a computer, though. Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support
