Sony Bravia - Apple TV App - "Couldn't Load Video" ---->> FIX THIS ISSUE!

I have a Sony 55 inch Bravia a few years old. I've had the MLS package through the Apple TV App this year and it streams with no issues. Recently got a new iphone which came with 3 months apple tv. When I try to watch an Apple TV show or movie I get the "Couldn't Load Video" error. I've run the video troubleshooter in the settings and it comes back as "No problem could be detected". I have fiber internet and consistently get over 900 Mbps, so that should not be an issue. I've had Apple TV a few years back on this same TV without issues. I have noticed a few of the short videos will play without issues. Things I have tried without success include setting it to play SD content only, setting the IP address to static, setting the DNS server from automatic to static. I've deleted and reinstalled the app. I've cleared caches and data. I've hard rebooted the TV. I've done the hokie-pokey and turned myself around! ALL other streaming apps work fine. The MLS stream in the Apple TV App works fine. I've tried the fast forwarding past the credits trick that some others have done, but without success. APPLE you need to fix this issue. I see so many others with the same issue. My 3 months free is ticking away.
