Freeform app text color issue in dark mode on iPad

When I have my iPad in dark mode and go to create a board on freeform I cannot change the text from white to black when renaming a board. This causes the white background with white text where you cant see. When I am in light mode it has the white board but I am allowed to see the text in black when renaming. Is this an issue with the newest IOS or is there a way to change this. When I use a text box I can use whatever color I want but when I hit the drop down to rename it is white only and this is only in dark mode.
