Nope. This is how you power off an iPhone. I'm glad you want to help, but you should check your answers before posting the wrong information (like advising that WhatsApp requires iOS 16 as you did in another thread moments ago).

What the Author needs to try is a Forced Restart:

• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Then immediately press and quickly release the volume down button
• Then immediately press and keep holding the side power button and KEEP HOLDING it past the swipe to power off and KEEP HOLDING it until the Apple Logo appears, then let go (can require holding for up to 30 seconds)

Which icon, could you send a photo, if its a music icon your phone most likely needs to be restored through iTunes or Apple Devices
