It has been few weeks that I have not been able to connect remote computer using Windows App. It appears that many other mac users in my company are having the same issue. It comes up as an error with the following message:
Unable to connect
Your session ended because an unexpected server authentication certificate was received from the remote PC. Contact your network administrator for assistance.
Error code: 0x907
Do you know how to resolve it?

the "windows app" is a bit vague, is it a microsoft remote desktop app you have installed?
or teamviewer? or citrix or ?
Hi Valeria, I have the same issue but then on the Windows App for iPadOS. The same error, 0x907. On the Mac all (still) works, not sure when I updated Windows App for Mac. My system administrator told me the issue is unsolvable since “the Apple certificates are no longer trusted”(??). This is very annoying to say the least, and I am not getting any responses to my complaints filed at Microsoft.
The 0x907 error is historical and has been reported many times in the last few years. Apparently it gets fixed now and then. I recommend to not update your windows app once it works again, or at least make a backup of the old working version prior to upgrading.
