Can't run Bank of America Mobile app on my iPhone 17 Pro

I just got back from Apples store in Fashion Island, Newport Beach. They tell me it’s Bank of America’s app that’s not working properly and at Bank of America, they tell me it’s Apples problem!

so now I have a IPhone 17 that’s completely useless for what i use it for! I’ve always been an Apple guy but leaving the customer without the cure, that’s really bad business!

Johnathan is right. Apple did not develop the B of A app. Nor do they have permission to make any changes to that app. That is entirely up to the developer, no matter what they tell you. I can say from experience, that I also had issues with B of A after updating. Try restarting your iPhone, then also closing and restarting the app. For me, it took several days of just accessing my B of A account via Safari and the web login before I could get everything to work. Shame on B of A for "leaving the customer without a cure." They had access to the beta versions months before Apple released the updates.

More basics:

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.

BTW, my BofA app works perfectly.

Have you tried the basics? Delete and reinstall the app. Force restart the phone.
