SD card readers not recognized on iPad 10th generation

Hi all,

I have a iPad 10th generation. I am running iOS 26.1.

I purchased two separate SD card readers from Amazon.

Both readers are not showing thumb drive, micro SD card, or SD card under "Locations" in "Files" app.

Here are the two purchased. (open links in a new tab in browser)

Both of the readers above work perfect on our other iPad 9th generation iOS 26.1, iphones 7, XS, and 14 with no issues.

I am really stumped on this. Any assistance would be fantastic.

Thanks

At the time of writing, iPadOS 26.1 has not been released as production software. As you are using a beta version, you should anticipate encountering bugs and other unresolved issues.

If you wish to return to using the current production (i.e. supported) version of iPadOS, this official Apple support page provides the necessary information to remove the beta from your device:

Be aware that restoring an earlier version of iPadOS will completely reset and erase your iPad. Assuming that you have a pre-existing iCloud or iTunes backup of your iPhone that has not been updated since installing the iOS 26 beta, your locally stored data and files can be restored after returning your iPhone to iOS 26.0.1; if you don't have a pre-existing backup, all locally stored data will be irretrievably lost:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

An iCloud or iTunes backup can only be restored to a device running the same or later version of iOS than created (or last updated) the backup.
