Are video chapter markers viewable in iOS devices

Have created a video in FCP that uses chapter markers. The video was exported via FCP export function using the Apple Devices 1080p option. The include chapter markers check box was checked and the file exported correctly.

Quicktime, and the Apple TV apps on my Mac both show the chapter markers as expected.

I Air Dropped the file to both my iPad Pro and iPhone and neither of them show the chapter markers or a control to view them when playing them. It is not possible to import them to the Apple TV app on either iOS device.

Is this normal operation?
