Apple TV Family Sharing not visible on MacBook Air M1

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue accessing my dad’s shared Apple TV movie library on my MacBook Air M1. On my iPhone, I can see and watch all the movies from his purchased collection without any problem.

However, on my MacBook, the shared library doesn’t appear at all — I can’t see any of his content.

Has anyone else experienced this or knows what might be causing it? Any help would be appreciated!

Be sure to sign in to the Apple TV app on your Mac, with the same personal Apple Account as you used to join Family Sharing. It isn’t automatic from the main device account as it is on iPhone.

Then find Family Sharing in the Library section of the side bar of the TV app. (If you don’t see that option, you can enable it through ‘Edit’, a bit to the right of Library.) Then click the name of chosen group member whose purchases you would like to see.
