Enroll device in new ASM group without wipe

We're transitioning from SimpleMDM to Jamf Pro. As of this day we do not have access to Jamf Migrate. Yet, and there's a good chance that we will not get it from our IT Dept above us for whatever reason.

My question is if there is ANY way to force the enrollment process that starts when one wipes a computer? I already have removed the old profile and unenrolled the test machine from SimpleMDM so now the only question is if how to force the initial enrollment process.

Unlocking and mounting "Macintosh HD - Data" and removing "/Volumes/Macintosh HD - Data/private/var/db/.AppleSetupDone" won't work as the file just gets recreated at startup. Creating .RunLanguageChooserToo in the same location doesn't work, i emptied db/ConfigurationProfiles (but Settings") after compared to a machine that is wiped and is at the language selection stage where I opened a terminal and ran ls -la /var/db/ but can't really find anything that are much different and would make sense to remove.

Now I get why the not-fresh-start is not really supported, but us having to meet with 100+ high level users and wipe 100+ machines is not something we are going to do for sure.

Any solution is welcome.

All our machines are on Sonoma as of today. I will however upgrade one to Tahoe but the trend is that it only gets "worse" with new versions when it comes down to going around things.
