Disable iCloud on Mac without accepting the terms
I never had iCloud because I don't accept the terms for whatever reason. For 10 years, with every update I just rejected them, and it was gone.
However, with Mac OS 26, it keeps asking me.
The notification shows up at the top right corner. When I click the cross to close it, it opens the terms as if I clicked to view them instead. And then I have to click 'Cancel'.
All tips out there boil down to disabling iCloud when it already works. The advice is System Settings \ Account \ iCloud, and then disabling stuff there.
However, all items in System Settings \ Account are disabled for me for some reason.
Apple Account Suggestions shows 'Update Apple Account Settings' item, but when I click 'Continue' on it, it shows 'Updating Your Account' for a few settings, and then nothing happens.
Then a few minutes or hours later the notification is up again blocking useful space.
How do I get rid of the prompt to accept the iCloud terms for good?
