siri appearing when i double tap airpods pro. doesnt pause or skip

only on my macbook when i connect my airpods pro

to listen to music or watch vids

it doesnt pause/unpause or skip anymore

double tap makes siri appear

and when i press it once it just makes that sound it does when an action is not possible?

why though, when its connected to my phone its perfectly fine?

its really annoying me idk how to fix it please help.
