iWatch 9, IOS 26.0.2, iPhone 15, IOS 26.0.1. Fitness shows workouts only, no monthly or limited challenges. Have rebooted both iphone and iwatch, even unpaired the phone and watch with no luck. The family uses the monthly challenges for internal competition. Have comparied phone settings with the wife's iphone/iwatch and everything matches. She shows all awards and mine shows just workouts.

The awards and challenges should sync backer time after paring the watch to the iPhone again.
Make sure, that in the WatchApp/Notifications/Activity -> Special Challenges and Activity Sharing Notifications are still enabled.
Thanks, have already did this spent about two hours doing trouble shooting with recommendations from Apple website. Purchased them on 1 Dec 2023 and they are in water daily, believe a seal has let go.
If the watch still syncs data with the Health App, which then shoe up ion the Fitness App on your iPhone as well, this issue is not hardware related.
It is true, that the seals of the watch will lose their function over time, also depending on the environment the watch has been exposed to. But if water gets into the watch, the hardware will fail, especially the battery.
Limited Challenges & Monthly Challenges no longer show.
