New scam impersonating Apple
Just received the following authentic looking scam text….

We have identified recent activity associated with your Apple iCloud ID that may require your attention. A transaction of $143.95 was attempted at Apple Store - CA using Apple Pay Pre-Authorization. Additionally, we’ve detected unusual login and Apple Pay activation attempts linked to your account.
As a precaution to protect your data and prevent unauthorized access, these actions have been temporarily placed on hold. This measure helps safeguard your photos, data, linked payment methods, and personal information.
