1. I do not remember my Apple ID password. I submitted an account recovery request at iforgot.apple.com about 23 hours ago. The page now shows an estimated wait that may extend to 3 to 5 days.
2. I have taken my SIM back and activated the same phone number on another SIM.
3. I want to find the phone location urgently because if I wait several days the battery may die and Find My will go offline. I am worried the device will not send Bluetooth or location pings after that.

My main questions:

• Is there any legal way to speed up Apple account recovery or have them verify ownership faster?

• Will providing a police report and proof of purchase make Apple accelerate verification?
