I've just remembered I was doing this a couple of years ago!

Anyway, going back to Karsten's original item I added 10% Gaussian blur to a clip in FCP and exported a frame which I put in Gemini with the instructions to make it sharp and better quality.

The result was a failure as the photo came back almost identical and possibly slightly more blurred.

Gemini is Google's "AI assistant". The gist of it is that it was able to take an old low resolution image and enhance it as Karsten showed.

Back around 1990 my father asked me what computers could do. At that time most things could still be done quicker and more easily by pen, paper and traditional means so my answer was "Not much!"
