FaceTime on Mac auto adjust audio

When using FaceTime on Mac, while streaming at least on it, wants to auto adjust my auto and honestly it's annoying. I have also turned off audio ducking based on what I looked up trying to fix this issue. This didn't seem to fix anything. On top of that audio is VERY quiet even when everything is as loud as it can be. can we at least get a setting for this to make it so its not quiet and automatically turning down my volume when I dont need/want it to do so. I refuse to believe that I'm the only one wanting this fixed, and I know I can't be, because this is super annoying to deal with when its constantly happening at the slightest sound.
