Resetting Apple Account and verifying identity with old password and email
What is the best, most efficient way to reset an Apple account? Apple lost my original password to accompany my email account ID. They may have locked or eliminated my original account years ago. When I tried to log in to my account, system did not recognize my password. My account info was set up long ago before the A.I. security measures were instituted, before extra identity verification methods were used, before the unending back and forth of long codes. I also misplaced one of my Apple iPhones. That was when I contacted Apple support online and by phone to get help locating my phone. They did not have capability to find my phone. Support recommended I reset my account because Apple would not accept my longtime account password. It was chosen by me years ago also and I never changed my original email address and password! I never worked with Google back then because Google was only a search engine. Google had not yet made contracts with Apple to inject their software, platforms, gmail contents, etc into Apple products and services.
I have tried to resolve this “locked” account and reset everything using an Apple specialist’s instructions. While trying to select new passwords and email addresses required in the reset account process, there was no way to get around setting up two separate Apple accounts. I was told my Spple staff at an Apple Store AND Apple customer support that holding two Apple accounts would not be a problem. I am left now with my new Apple phone which won’t recognize my new password or Account ID. Basic functions I could do on this iPhone for a few months have been disabled. I cannot even use my clock to see alarms like before. The phone simply opens a page telling me to open the corresponding App. Hello I cannot download or use apps yet because the system expects me to authenticate my identity. I got the phone to recognize my new email for accessing some Google webpages but that email is not allowed for login to my account. If going to the store for realtime live assistance and spending hours on Apple support line and months trying to reset my account and password using web links and webpages and two Apple devices did not work already, what else can I do? I bet this plea for assistance will be edited or removed by a bot or moderator. I am not even using the Internet to send this message I am using cellular data which may hike up my phone bill. Everything the hard way. Thank you for any help you may offer.
