Broken ANC? AirPods Pro 3

Hey, is it possible that the ANC in the AirPods Pro 3 is broken? I bought them literally the first day they were available in stores. These are my first Apple headphones.

When I put them on for the first time, I felt dizzy, it was so quiet. I couldn't hear anyone talking to me, even if they were standing next to me.

Today I noticed that I can almost hear my boyfriend talking next to me or playing a game in another room.

Theoretically, the ANC is blocking something out, because I can hear the difference between modes and I can hear him faintly when he's talking to friends on the computer (he's talking quite loudly), but it's definitely worse than before. Without music, I hear noise.

I've tried different earbud sizes, cleaning them, etc., and it's the same. Maybe a little better when I changed the earbuds from S to M, because L is too big.

Conversation detection is disabled. I can hear the actual noise reduction when I test the earbuds, which is great, but when I'm done, it's bad again.

I have an iPhone 15 plus and iOS 26.
