Two factor authentication codes auto-populating not working in Brave and Chrome

I cannot get two factor authentication codes codes sent via text message and email to auto populate in Brave, Chrome, and Edge. It does work in Comet, Firefox and Vivaldi. Has anyone else had this issue recently?

To my knowledge, this feature works will all browsers in Tahoe, not just Safari, and this is a publicly available feature. I called AppleCare and a rep was looking into it.
