iPad Gen 9 likely to receive iPadOs27?

History demonstrates that Apple devices typically receive system software updates for five to seven years - latter years being restricted to "point" security updates. Apple does not pre-announce end of support.

I think it probably will, because Apple usually only axes one generation at a time, and since iOS 26 works on the iPad 8, iOS 27 will be the last version of iPadOS the 9th gen receives
