iCloud account password reset blocked for 3 days

I have tried to reset my password following all the instructions from apple, and then at the end I had a message that I will be able only in 24 hours to change the password, and then the 24 hours passed and when I was trying to start again the process of password reset, at the end showed me that i must wait 3 days until I get the instructions what to do next and to be able changing the password. So I was trying to talk at apple and they have said that I must wait because there is nothing they can do from them side because it’s something automatic from the sistem, and now I have no idea what I can do that I can just be able to change my password and to use my iCloud again because all my data is there and I need it. Please guys let me know what can I do to sort this out. Thanks
