Apple TV's 'Continue Watching' list excludes Netflix

apple TV (all Apple TV’S) does not support Netflix to the same extent as say Hulu, ect. For example, on the Home Screen, “continual watching” list does not include Netflix, on my old box (2rd gen) or my 4k box. It never has.

In order for 3rd party apps to be included in the 'up next' queue they agree to participate, and all such apps then have the option to connect to the TV app (shown under settings). Netflix has specifically chosen not to participate.

If you have a 2nd gen Apple TV then it wouldn't be running TVOS nor have apps (just pre-set server based channels, which Netflix any many others have dropped support for).
