Apple Pencil Pro Stops Connecting After iOS 26 → 26.0.1 Update

I’m having an issue with my Apple Pencil Pro. Ever since I updated my iPad Air 11-inch M2 to iOS 26, the Pencil stopped showing up in my Bluetooth devices even though it was connected. A local Apple-partnered store fixed it temporarily by doing a hard reset, but after updating again to iOS 26.0.1, the same issue came back. We’ve already tried everything— reset network, reset all settings, toggled Bluetooth, and did another hard reset— but it still won’t connect.

I’ve also read several posts from others experiencing the same issue, so my main question is: when can we expect an update that includes a fix for what I assume is a bug?
