Fraudulent charge in my United Visa credit card.

I just noticed that on my apple wallet showing over $ 87.00 charge on my United Visa card from Costco Gasoline in September this year. I called my bank and somehow they removed my United credit card from my apple wallet and said they will send me about new card. I thought about contacting you about this since this is for you to be aware. Im not sure how my United credit card on my apple wallet was used, and to find out if my Iphone has been hacked? Few days ago i contacted tech support after received pop up message i thought was from someone tried to hack my Iphone. Hope you can check and find out if this charge was related to the attempted hacking on my iphone few days ago. Please let me know if my phone has been compromised, and how to protect my phone. Thank you. Zeny.

Your iPhone was not hacked. Your account was compromised when you swiped your card or inserted the chip into a transaction terminal that was tampered with by scammers.

The bank that issued the card, controls the card when it’s in your Wallet app and they can remove it at any time.

You can report phishing at these links and most importantly your local law enforcement.
