I can't watch the movies I bought before a certain date.

Hi.

I have bought about 50 movies from apple and used to watch them on an Apple TV box plugged into my TV.

A few years ago all the icons for my movies in the apple TV app went grey and when I click on them I get a message saying I didn't buy the movie. New movies I buy appear mixed in with with the old purchases and I can watch them fine.

Just as an experiment I tried re-buying a movie I had already bought; apple charged me again and the movie duly ungrayed in the display and I was able to watch it.

Interestingly the movies do not appear in my purchase history.

There is no option in the apple support to report this issue. Does anyone have any advice?

If a title gets removed from the Apple iTunes Store for various reasons it will no longer be available to play and come up as if you never bought it. It’s always best to download content to prevent losing them. You cannot download to an Apple TV Box : Download and stream shows, movies, and events from Apple TV+, MLS Season Pass, and Apple TV channels - Apple Support

FWIW I haven’t lost any of my movies. I only downloaded some of them

I can't watch the movies I bought before a certain date.
