why am I asked repeatedly for my apple password?
I set up a TV recently and it asks almost daily for my apple password. Why?

We wouldn't know why your TV is asking for your Apple Account Password. I'd check to see if it's tied to the Apple TV app on your TV. And if it is, I'd sign into the TV App, which should end the message request for your account password.
