Got sound from the Lavalier in voice memos but not with my camera (apple recording video app). I looked at the privacy setting... saw nothing special there. I'm wondering about a compatibility issue now.

See whether the Lavalier shows up In iPhone's Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Input
and / or
If iPhone microphone is ticked there, then try the Automatic setting instead.
Wondering if Lavalier may have an app for iPhone use ?
