macOS Music app and cover art - how to display embedded artwork automatically

I recently moved my music library from a Windows machine to a Mac Mini. The only thing that didn't transition well is the album artwork. turingtest2 explained that the macOS Music app won't use the Windows Album Artwork cache but, given all my songs have embedded cover art (the covers appear in Finder and in other apps (eg. IINA)), I expected the Music app would build a new cache and the art work would appear eventually. It's been three or four days since I set it up and no artwork has appeared.

Some advice online indicates you can use a Doug's script to re-embed cover art but Doug's site suggests using the script with an album's worth of tracks--or so--at a time and that would take me a long, long time. In any event, I have the artwork in every album folder so I could also just manually re-attach the artwork manually given enough time - but I'd prefer a more efficient solution, particularly given the artwork is already embedded in every track.

Is there any way to automate this process - to get the Music app rebuilding a new artwork cache on its own? Grateful for any advice.
