How can I reset my password without a verification code?

So i wanted to add a new email for my account but it said i had to put in a password even though i never had one in the first place. So i have to reset it but i cant because the verification code does not appear.

Original Title: I am trying to reset my password at iforgot.com and i do it but the verification code is appearing nowhere.
