Apple Podcasts stop playing when Facebook is in background on iPhone with iOS 26

Use Facebook normally

change focus to use Podcasts and start playing a podcast

after a short period of time the podcast will stop playing

I’m pretty sure it’s related to an ad running in the Facebook app in the background but this will never happened on early versions of iOS, only 26

if I dismiss Facebook so it’s no longer running in the background the problem does not occur
