Unable to click 'Accept Cookies' on some websites using iPhone

on some websites (not all) I can’t physically click accept cookies, or any other options. If I turn the phone landscape then sometimes it works ( but not all) what is going on? Giffgaff want me to return the phone for up to 10 days of repair but if I’m scrolling the touch screen is actually working? This seems like a settings issue to me? Or can giff gaff repair this annoying quirk??

Which iPhone model? Is it a Max model with larger screen? Do you have the screen zoom (enlarged) or the text size increased? If, please reduce the sizes and try again. Have you tried turning the screen horizontal?

No, it’s actually a website issue in my experience. The site isn’t optimized for mobile devices. I’ll visit Etsy and see what I see.

Update: Etsy website is not optimized for mobile devices. Many elements appear off the screen and inaccessible. I have to constantly pinch the screen to fit everything on screen.

Have you tried the Etsy app?

It’s the iPhone 16. Not a max. I’ve just checked and the text seems to be normal 100%. As mentioned if I run the phone landscape mode ( horizontal) sometimes that works, but other times not. For example on Etsy I just can’t use the website anymore at all as I can’t cross off the cookies message whichever way I hold my phone. I’m certain I will send it off for repair and they will tell me it’s a settings issue and nothing with the physical phone, since the touch seems to work everywhere on other pages. Perhaps I should take it to an apple shop.

Hi, yes I have used the app and that works fine but that’s not a solution. Previous phones I have never had such an issue with Etsy. Also this is one example. Another is I just tried to live chat on now tv live chat and I can’t click the send button. I also tried to check a tv schedule earlier and it took four sites for me to be able to click the accept all button. Surely all of these websites I don’t need an app for? This hasn’t been an issue for the first 6/7 months of me having the phone, just the last month.
