Since updating to iOS 26, my shortcuts that rely on audio file transcription action (in Shortcuts App.) have stopped working. They now display the following error message: “No common audio files among modules.”
I upgrad my iPad to the new iOS 26.0.1 and uninstalled and reinstalled the Shortcuts application and the error remain unchanged. The same error on all my Apple devices (iPhone and iMac).

Consider also posting on this Shortcuts subreddit — it has many more Shortcuts experts than here on ASC.

Anubis ~ In your Transcrire action, where is 'Fichier audio' file located? ...And what is that file's extension?

Anubis ~ Have you used a tool to convert and merge your MP3 and M4A files into one audio file, say all MP3 or all M4A? ...If so, that may be what's upsetting Shortcuts.

Hi Alancito, thanks for your reply. I’ve never done any audio file manipulation — no conversion or merging at all. Even the simplest file can’t be processed by Shortcuts anymore since the iOS update! I hope you try it yourself on your device and run the “Transcribe Audio Content” action — I believe you’ll encounter the same issue. I’ve tested it on all my devices with multiple files, and I always get the same result. :(

I have exactly the same isssue. All my shortcuts were running fine before the upgarde, and I have many with transcribing audio, and now none of them work, with the same error message that you get. Really annoying..
Can an APPLE person please jump in here and find a solution for this.??

Hi Alancito, The audio files are stored locally on my iPad’s internal storage in MP3 and M4A format.
