Battery swelling and screen uplifting

Suddenly I am seeing my iPhone 15pro screen to swell up and once contacted service centre , they have detected it as bettery swelling .

My battery life is at 82% and my iPhone life is 1.5 years old .

I don’t know how did this happen and am I eligible for free replacement ?

That’s what happens frequently when lithium batteries fail.

If you didn’t buy AppleCare plus, the standard warranty is one year. In some countries it’s 2 years.

If you are outside of the standard warranty or didn’t buy AppleCare plus, you will have to pay for the repair.
