Hi All,
Since I updated the IOS, the font used on my desktop macbook mail is weird. Thick and condensed so really hard to read. I tried to change it in the setting but it didn't worked.
Any idea on how to change that?

Is this in the message list, messages you receive, or messages you compose? The later has been reported by a number of other 26.0 users. Please update to macOS 26.0.1 and see if that makes a difference, If not, is it important to use this feedback link to let Apple know:

I'm having this exact issue in messages I'm receiving. I can change the default message font, but if I choose anything standard like Helvetica or Helvetica Neue, for some of the text (can't say which it's choosing) it is shown in Condensed Black, making it virtually illegible. This happened immediately upon update to Tahoe 26.0.1.
It won't get fixed if you do not let Apple know. Use the link I provided above.
I’m having the Same issue and unable to resolve it. The font settings don’t commit the change, they’re also bizarrely greyed out initially when you go to change font and dont give a “save” option after selecting the new font, so its hard to see if this should auto save, but if not, perhaps that’s the glitch? I’m trying today
