Apple TV Picture in Picture and Journal app freeze on iPhone

wondering if someone has the same problem.

i was watching an Apple TV movie Picture in Picture and opened journal app then edit and tapped camera to add a picture to journal but it totally froze no being a ble even to switch off phone no screen or buttons responding but movie sound could be hear .. I don’t know how but tried charge it and nothing happened but suddenly it switched off .

tried again and the same again but this time no volume .

Very weird and scary as phone was totally not responsive luckily it switched off again .
